Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is a method of medical imaging to visualize the structure and function of the body. It uses a strong magnetic field and radio waves to produce detailed pictures of the inside of the body. An MRI is particularly useful for producing pictures of the brain, spine, chest and joints.
We are cooperating with Spectra Medical Diagnostic Imaging Centre in Krakow, which uses GE Signa Excite 0,2 T scanner. The most important advantage of this MRI scanner is its’ “open” construction which gives patients a feeling of security and it allows to examine children and patients with claustrophobia.

Computed Tomography (CT) is a medical imaging method, which scans the body organs with X-rays and uses a computer to construct a series of cross-sectional scans along a single axis. This technique produces 2-D and 3-D cross-sectional images of an object from flat X-Ray images. Spectra Medical Diagnostic Imaging Centre in Krakow uses the latest CT scan equipment, which allows to perform complicated diagnostic examinations very fast (few seconds).
