Knee Arthroscopy Surgery
Our Surgery Clinic in Warsaw specialises in reconstruction of a torn cruciate ligament. This procedure is performed during knee arthroscopy. The procedure can be performed under local, regional or general anaesthesia. The orthopaedic surgeon will make a few small incisions in your knee. A sterile solution will be used to fill the knee joint to help produce a clearer picture. The surgeon will then insert the arthroscope and other surgical instruments. The image projected on a monitor is used to guide the arthroscope and the instruments for reconstruction of a torn ligament. Afterwards, the fluid is drained out and the cuts are closed with stitches.
